My personal message:

Greetings friends and family! We would like to thank you for visiting our website. Our mother, Alice, was taken by Huntington's Disease earlier this year. HD is an illness that affects our entire family and those close to us - we've made it our mission to do our part to stop it. As Alice's children, we are at risk for HD but refuse to remain inactive.

On June 1, 2008 we (Brian and Scott) completed the Ridgefield sprint triathlon and both finished toward the front of the pack. Brian kicked butt, placing 57 out of 332! This was our first event in our mother's memory and we can't wait until the next!

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to those of you who have donated to our cause. Our family is overwhelmed with the support! Also, thanks to those troopers who made it out at 7am for the race! Our generous friends and family gave over TEN THOUSAND dollars to our site in just ONE MONTH! We'll keep the site open for a bit longer

And so begins our fight against HD...
